Adding a splash of a high-acid grape variety to a red to negate the need for acidification isn't a new idea; here 2% riesling is adding to a base of Greenock shiraz to give it some added spark. Deep damson plum and blackberry fruit, packed with exotic spice, roasting meats, violets and savoury nuance. Gorgeous texture and flow in the mouth. Meaty-edged plummy fruits and abundant spice, gravelly tannin and a bright, savoury flick to its tail.
