Eperosa Magnolia Blanc 2017

Posted on 16 August 2018.

Far out. Barrel ferment Semillon from the Magnolia Road Vineyard, Vine Vale – plantings – 1941, 1971 and 1975.

Colour: she’s golden but she’s green. Sweet lemon, a little spice and honey, rich, but fresh. The texture like sun, so energising, with ultra-fine chalkiness, flavour of lime, lemon and green apple sorbet, a brine and waxy savoury character in its midst, and a very long cool finish, with that dusting of tannin cleaning it up beautifully. What a wine. Complex, graceful, and just so lovely to drink. Rare and wonderful. Yes. Rated : 95 Points Tasted : Aug18 Alcohol : 12.5% Price : $25 Closure : Cork Drink : 2019 - 2027
