2023 Stonegarden 1858 Grenache
 95% Grenache, 3% Mataro, 2% Shiraz, Springton, Eden Valley.  Organically
farmed, single block planted in 1858 (166yo vines). The soils are comprised of granitic
rock and sand with quartz seams and mica laden clay. Elevation 395m. 14.0% Alc.

 Tasting Notes:  Raspberry, pomegranate and bright cherries.  Rocks, slate and minerals with electric natural acidity. Dark spices.  Taught and bright raspberry fruited palate with a mineral, linear shape through the mid palate.  Super-fine tannins show the absolute class of this wine with their presence and persistence, what a great vineyard. Burgundian it its style and delivery at a fraction of the price.
