2023 Rosé
75% Grenache, 25%  Bushvine Mataro - Krondorf Vineyard, Barossa Valley. Plantings 1999, 1903 and 2014.  Organically farmed, single vineyard. Soil: Sandy loam over heavy red clay over a calcareous subsoil. 12.8% Alc.

Tasting notes: Light salmon in colour.  Aromas of freeze-dried strawberries, pomegranate with a little ginger spiciness.  Bone dry, provincial in style with a very fine herbaceous line along with blood orange and fine red strawberry fruits.  Soft and lightly textured, wet stone dryness.  Screams for a summer day and a plate full of charcuterie and cheese. A rose with a Bandol-like presence.
