100% Shiraz - Magnolia Vineyard, Vine Vale, Barossa Valley. Single block of 1896 planted vines.  Dry farmed, organically and regeneratively farmed on a deep peninsula of alluvial granitic sand. Elevation: 330-335m. Handpicked, 100% whole bunch fermentation with wild yeast, 3 week fermentation/skin contact.  Basket pressed.  French oak puncheons 69%, French oak hogsheads 31% for 20 months. Tasting Notes: Smells black. Charcoal, black berries, smoked/cured meat, minerals, cloves, and star anise.  Perfect balance of fruit and garrigue with a carbon/char undertone. Carbon and minerals meld with the blackberry fruit, offering great structure, length and balance with a focussed pure finish. Engaging and intriguing with every look.
